Homes for sale and rent in Vouliagmeni

Vouliagmeni lies at the southern end of the Riviera’s built-up core, around 20 km from central Athens. It is small, low-density and generally the priciest address on the coast.

Its landmarks are well known. Lake Vouliagmeni, a brackish lake fed by underground springs, sits under a limestone cliff beside the coastal road. Astir Beach and the Four Seasons Astir Palace hotel occupy the peninsula, and Vouliagmeni Marina sits in the bay.

Housing is mostly villas and large maisonettes on landscaped plots, with a smaller number of apartments in low-rise buildings near the centre. Many plots have sea views, and some reach the water. Few homes come to market in any given year, so the choice at any moment is limited.

The town has a compact centre with cafés and shops. Glyfada is about ten minutes away by car, and the airport is reached through Vari and Koropi. Vouliagmeni is quiet in winter and busy in summer, when its beaches draw visitors from across Athens.
