Homes for sale and rent in Lagonisi

Lagonisi is a peninsula on the coastal road to Sounion, around 40 km from central Athens. It belongs to the Saronikos municipality and is known for the Grand Resort Lagonissi, which occupies the tip of the peninsula.

For decades it was a summer-house area, and much of the stock still reflects that: detached houses and villas on large plots, many with gardens and some with pools, along quiet streets. More owners now live here year-round, and newer maisonettes and renovated villas have followed.

The coastline is a series of small coves and beaches, many reached on foot from the residential streets. Shops and daily services are more limited than further north. Residents use the local supermarkets and Kalyvia, a short drive inland.

The airport is reached through Kalyvia and Markopoulo. Central Athens is under an hour by car outside rush hour. Lagonisi suits buyers who want land, privacy and the sea, and who are happy to drive for most errands.
